These are super fun for tots, and easy for moms!
You likely already have everything you’ll need: paper plates, scissors, pipe cleaners, markers, glue, and glitter.
Instead of pipe cleaners you could use string, ribbon, old shoe laces, etc. If you prefer paint to markers, go for it. Stickers make a good alternative for glue and glitter.
Use one paper plate for the balloon and cut the basket shape out of the center of another plate. Next, let your babes decorate as they wish! Poke holes in the balloon and basket, then connect with pipe cleaners. My boys were quite proud of their creations, so we hung them from the ceiling to make it extra fun for them.
I love these sort of crafts because you have so many options. It’s a fun way for kids to get a little messy (if mom allows). Sometimes I set out a bunch of random supplies and see what the boys choose. (Tip for easy glitter clean-up: vacuum and cleaning wipes!)
