Remember Gratititude

What daily habit do you do that improves your quality of life?

It’s hard to stay positive with all the negativity that surrounds us. I’m a person who is easily influenced by the energy around me. This means that, if I’m surrounded by negative people, I’m a lot more likely to feel negative as well, and on goes the cycle. I think this is probably true for most people. I learned I can make it easier on me though. When something comes up that would put you in a bad mood or ruin your day, remind yourself of something in your life that is going well. It doesn’t even have to be related to the issue at hand (although it can be helpful if it is). For instance, I have a leak in my screened in porch, but at least my husband can easily fix it, and I’m grateful for that. So what’s the point of getting upset? There isn’t one. To me, “practicing positivity” goes hand-in-hand with “remembering gratitude.”
