Spider Craft for Kids (Toddler-Friendly and perfect for Halloween!)

Spider with <3

It’s spooky season! Let’s make some spiders!

This is an easy kid-friendly craft most can throw together from left over craft supplies.

What you will need:

-Paper towel or toilet paper roll, cut into pieces to make spider bodies.

-Pipe cleaners (I used left-over sparkly Halloween pipe cleaners from Dollar Tree): 3-4 for each spider, depending on how many legs you want them to have.

-Marker(s) for spider faces.

-A hole puncher for the leg holes.

-White yarn, strong, or ribbon for the web that you will hang your spiders from.

How-to:

Punch holes on opposite sides of spiders. Stick 1 pipe cleaner through two holes (one on each side, opposite of one another), then bend the legs however you want! My kids had a lot of fun with this part. You can let your little a draw the faces on the spiders before or after they put the legs on the spiders. Mine chose to draw crazy faces with every type of emotion, which was fun! I hung a piece of white ribbon but, then was much enough to find some web-like looking yarn in the craft closet the hang each spider from.

These little seasonal crafts made with craft extras/household items are a fun and easy way to entertain littles. My toddlers love to see their creations decorating our house every season!
